The Galway Grammar School operated for more than 200 years, finally closing in 1960. More recently, Yeats College has renovated the old Grammar School building; bringing it back to its former period glory through careful restoration and preservation and returning it to its original function. In addition, a dramatic new extension featuring a curved glass wall was created. This will also be accessible on the tour.
