Open House, Galway’s Architectural Festival continues to defy the odds, adapt and grow, to show case the best of our Architectural heritage in Galway City and County. After all, Architecture and the built environment are our best asset in attracting visitors and making Galway City and County a very pleasant and vibrant place to live.

Now in our fourth year, Open House Galway takes its place among the Architectural Festival Family worldwide which includes Chicago, London, Lisbon, Helsinki and Dublin, to name a few, held at this time of year. Smaller in scale, Féile Ailtireachta na Gaillimhe brings our rich physical environment into the limelight, and reinforces Galway as the cultural capital of Ireland. Open House allows you to experience great Architecture, both old and new, up close and personal. The Festival affords an insight into many buildings not normally open to the public
